I miss you,

I miss your laugh and your bright smile,

Your sincere sound and how you wear kindness like it’s your favourite shirt.

I miss your presence, it surrounded me like a good aroma, like a sweet perfume, your warmth lingers.

I miss the interests and likes we shared, there was never anything spurious about you and that echoed like a loud familiar ring.

I miss how myself I am with you in your presence, sitting by you, you embraced my every essence.

You created space for me in your thoughts, like how you would remember all the things I would bring up,

You stored me in the sacred place, where sacred things are kept.

In that same manner, you will never be forgotten,

Everlasting in my mind, you leave behind permanent foot-trails in the path of my life.

Such an impression you made,

I will always look back and be reminded of the times that we had and never let it fade.
