This is probably one of my favourite poetry books. It genuinely feels like having a deep conversation with a close friend who understands exactly what you’re feeling! Each poem captures emotions I often find hard to express and offers so much comfort. I felt seen on every page!
This is the first poetry book I have ever owned. I really loved reading it as it made me feel more connected with myself and the emotions I did not know how to express.
I also thought it was very interesting how before every poem the writer gives us a little introduction, which truly made me feel like she was my “companion” and that I was “never truly alone” during this experience. It was as if the writer was my reading partner through every poem.
I definitely recommend you buying and reading this poetry book, you won’t regret it!
